Review:
30 Minutes or Less is more or less about a pizza delivery boy who experiences one wild and brainsick night.
While bearing pizza one evening, Nick is abducted by two crooks, who coerce him to assist rob a bank. They require it done in thirty minutes or less.
The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer who is responsible for Zombieland. While he doesn’t have too much other films to his credit, outside of penning a cluster of episodes for MTV, so if not for Zombieland, it’s worrying. Thankfully, he has Zombieland, and we’ve now formally said Zombieland almost over and over again because it’s a good movie.
Anyway, this is the first screenplay by authors Matthew Sullivan and Michael Diliberti, so it is difficult to say if they have what it takes to carry off a summer comedy. But still, they have in their cast Jesse Eisenberg and Danny McBride, so they could have a box office on their hands.
Zombieland rocked our world. We are all fans of Eisenberg, since the Social Network and Rio. It looks as if this is the most suitable film for him. We can bet his fictional character is over-neurotic. Also, Danny McBride is genuinely funny from time to time, and if the movie is just even half of what Zombieland was made up, then it’s a hit.
