A Better Life is a story that spans two generations and portrays the love between a father and son. Carlos Riquelme (played by Demian Bichir) is a gardener by profession in Eastern Los Angeles and as he works for the wealthy and the famous, he tries his best to protect his son from rogue gangs and immigration agents.
