Review:

This 1992 released movie directed by Rob Riener, stars Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson and Demi Moore. The story revolves around the murder of Santiago at a navy base in Guantanamo bay.  The accused are two navy generals, Lauden Downey and Harold Dawson. The case is assigned to Kaffe, played by Tom Cruise, to plead for a bargain under the circumstances. Kaffe’s newly assigned assistant Galloway, played by Moore, however, thinks that there is more to the case than what is presented and believes it is appropriate to go to the court and fight it. On taking the case to the court, a whole new side of the story is unravelled, leading to accusation on senior officers including Col. Jessep – played by Nicholson. The accused are found to be acting on orders given by their superiors to carry out a code red on the victim, which eventually kills him.

This court room drama is one classic movie and is recommended as a collectable. Acclaimed, not only by the critics but also the public, this movie received a 3.5 stars rating overall. Having won the academy award for the best movie, this is a must watch if you are a fan of military drama.
