Review:
Another sequel is being designed for the Harold & Kumar series and the screenplay is almost complete. It is quite baffling that they are considering an additional chapter into the H&K franchise, because somehow, it fizzled out really hard.
Kal Penn and John Cho have signed up for a different Harold & Kumar film, the release date is now November 2011.
Kumar (Kal Penn) and Harold (John Cho) are at present in their thirties and no more on talking terms. Harold’s a successful, drug-free, married, Wall Street star who resides in a beautiful abode. Kumar’s the opposite– still stays in the same house, single, and has lately had his medical permit frozen for smoking weed. The duo are reunified when a box meant for Harold reaches their old flat and Kumar hands it over to his home.
While at that place, Kumar burns a Christmas tree developed by Harold’s father-in-law, asking the two of them to get a replacement.
Director Jon Hurwitz developed the roles for the former two Harold & Kumar films. He also wrote American Pie 4.
Harold and Kumar are now in 3D. Leeching a franchise for its every bit of gross, until it’s lost all its creativity.
College kids and pot heads will perhaps be into it, but probably the rest of the population will skip a new Harold and Kumar movie.
