THIS is what a summer movie should be! Action, thrills, excitement, beautiful people, and not a single brain cell required. Perfect. Good, old American fun.

The story is simple enough-there’s an accident. It could happen to anyone. But give that accident to one snobby beauty queen and her three clueless friends, and add in a VERY stupid decision, then have them haunted by the victim of said accident and you’ve got yourself the recipe for a summer hit.

While the friends speed along a windy Cliffside road, and accidentally hit a lone fisherman, they do what any stupid teenager would do-they put aside all rational thinking and dump him into the water. Then they go off to their new lives in the real world. One year later, reunited in their hometown, they are haunted with notes that tell them “I know what you did last summer”. Then the fun really begins.
