Madagascar is a 2005 animated movie produced from DreamWorks Animation and is about the animals at Central Park Zoo in New York City. It is a film made for the kids and involves some hilarious comedy scenes which are worth watching. There are many people who have lent their voices to these animals and include Jada Pinkett Smith, David Schwimmer, Chris Rock, Ben Stiller, Sacha Baron Cohen, Andrey Richter and Cedric.
The plot of the film is about these animals who have been pampered at the zoo with their timely meals and admiring public who come regularly to visit them. One day, Marty the Zebra decides to explore the world outside thinking he can find wide open spaces where the can around and play about. The penguins, Alex the lion, Gloria the hippopotamus and Melman the giraffe follow him to ultimately find themselves in a ship to Kenya. When the penguins sabotage the ship, the other animals are washed away and find themselves on the shores of Madagascar. The story is all about their survival here on this exotic island.
This kid’s animated movie has some right proportions of humor to keep your senses tingling. It is hilariously designed with a great story and plot line making it one of the best animated series.
