Review:
The movie is a futuristic venture inspired from a short story written by the late Philip k Dick. Minority Report is an action thriller. Firstly for them who enjoy action sequences and hi tech gadgets. Secondly for them who wants to put their mind to it and analyse and predict the turn of events.
The inherent suspense in the plot is the most interesting aspect. Tom Cruise plays Anderton, an agent in the futuristic ‘pre crime’ department, that can predict murders, and savethe lives of the future victims and nab the murderers. The team does so with the help of the “precogs”- three psychics who prophecies the future. The movie runs smoothly till one day the system points fingers at Anderton showing him as potential murderer.
Andertonflees to prove his innocence and he kidnaps Samantha the most gifted in the team. Together they try to escape and prove Anderton’s innocence only to unravel a whole new chapter. The movie is definitely engaging with state of the art special effects and futuristic projections. With Steven Spielberg’s direction this movie is a must watch for all. The cast of the movie also include Collin Farrel and British actress Samantha Moores.
