Director: Yann Samuell
Cast: Elisha Cuthbert, Jesse Bradford, Austin Basis

My Sassy Girl is the American remake of the Korean romantic comedy film of the same name. It is inspired by a true story that was written in a series of blog spots written by Kim Hosilk. Directed by Yann Samuell, this 92 minutes film was released by August 26, 2008 in the United States. This film stars Elisha Cuthbert and Jesse Bradford in significant roles.
The plot is like any other love story of how a nice guy falls in love with a hellion. The guy is Charlie Bellow – a polite, kind hearted young man from the Midwestern state of Indiana and the girl is Jordan Roark – a beautiful, fun loving, emotionally volatile young woman who drinks too much and lives in New York city. One day, Charlie saves Jordan’s life when she was drunkenly leaning over the guard rail in a subway station and carries her to his apartment. During the course of the film, they will fall deeply in love and the story is about how they pull each other to a healthier place by virtue of their relationship.
My Sassy Girl is one of the best that Korean cinema can offer and was remade in Hollywood to get a positive response there too. The script is cleverly written and has good content with an unexpected plot twist.
