If you’ve ever seen a Piranha movie, or even movies with the bloodthirsty fish in it, you’ll understand that the idea of watching a film in which dozens of tiny fish come to pick the flesh from a person’s bones with their razor sharp teeth (a process that can happen in less than a minute) in 3D is a pretty sweet plan. Especially if you’re into gut clenching shocks and terror. In Piranha 3D you get all of that and a bit more. Thanks to an underwater tremor, prehistoric fish are set free to eat and terrorize the humans to their heart’s content. Now a group of strangers has to work together if they don’t want to become food for the newest underwater residents. Released August 20th, 2010, Piranha 3D is not for the faint of heart. Filmed in Arizona, the movie offers enough scene specific horror to scare anyone away from those particular waters.
