Transporter 3 the third edition of the Transporter series made its way to the theatres on the 26th of November, 2008. The success of the previous two editions brought about the hype for the third and final installment of the transporter film franchise. However, 20th Century Fox didn’t take over the distribution rights of this edition across the US. Directed by Olivier Megaton, this film has Jason Statham and François Berléand amongst the others in the star cast.
Frank Martin, the expert “transporter” returns to France in this edition to continue his area of specialization as the guy who delivers packages without cross questions as it says in his ‘rule book’. Things seem well until an unexpected event takes place. Frank is held captive by a group of gangsters and is given an assignment to take up a life threatening task. An electronic explosive device is fitted onto the transporter’s wrist with the alignment that it would activate and explode, if he moved even 50feet away from his car. A strange woman is made to accompany the expert driver, with forever chasing assassins to give him company! How Frank deals with these challenges and escapes the challenges posed to his life is what the rest of the movie is all about!
